Why does my Live Photo export as GIF sometimes fail?

Some Live Photos use HEVC video encoding. If your browser cannot decode it, you will be prompted. Chrome and Edge support HEVC natively; Firefox may require an additional decoder.

What is the difference between GIF and MP4 output?

GIF is universally supported but large. MP4 is typically 30–50× smaller and looks better. We generate both by default.

Is there a browser extension?

Yes — the extension adds local folder selection and remembers your settings. The website works fully without it.
